Dancing Without Borders and the Artistic Affair // two benefits this week

Hey, hey!

There are two exciting benefits coming up this week that Funtown is involved with. The first is Dancing Without Borders, a Haiti benefit dance party where all the proceeds will go to Doctors Without Borders. The line up is sick and there are already about 200 confirmed guests on the Facebook event page so get there early. I have Jen Web and Rachelle hoop dancing up on stage with the headliners and the Philadelphia City Paper just ranked this party the #1 DJ night of the week. It should be quite the night and it’s all going down tomorrow (Thursday) at the Barbary in Philly!

The second benefit is happening the next day on First Friday at TRUST (formerly known as The FUEL House). Remember MTV’s Real World in Philly? The house they all lived in was turned into a beautiful art gallery/event space and after years of successful art exhibitions and events it was just renamed TRUST. I’m extremely honored to be involved with this inaugural fundraiser for a new nonprofit called the Association for the Advancement and Integration of Design (AAID). Jen Web are Rachelle are two of the featured performers and they will be hoop dancing throughout the night. If you are in the area be sure to stop by!

Additional info on these benefits can be found below and on the Funtown website: http://www.funtownproductions.com/events.html

Respectfully,
-Matt
